The location is central, close to a museum and a castle. A 15-minute walk can take you to the train station. The room is nicely furnished and tidy with a double and single bed, everything is really good.

Great way to end our trip. Comfortable modern hotel located in a shopping area near to the centre, the shops, pubs and restaurants and most attractions including the shambles. Marvellous location, minutes from City Centre, really enjoyed this place. Got neat room with the bar and a wonderful view, for example...

We only slept at the twin room, but loved it. The bed was comfortable; and there was a bath.

The location was exceptional, just 5 minutes walk from The Bars. Also, the area was shopping. I was given a fashionable room with with fantastic views, an amazing view and single bed. Lots of food available in the lounge area.

The location, by the river, and close to town centre, was excellent.the staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Car park facilities are excellent, located beneath the hotel, very secure and very reassuring.

The staff were rude and a disagreement occurred at check-in due to us changing our arrival date as my daughter was in hospital the previous booked date. This was changed3 days before due to arrive and they told us they could provide the same rooms for the same price on a different day. When we arrived they were insisting we pay an extra £40 for this change. A massive disagreement occurred until we were about to walk away and find some other place to stay. The manager eventually agreed not to charge us the extra but was extremely rude and their staff sneered at us after that. No such thing as goodwill or the customer is always right attitude here then!! The stay was not marred after that as we kept away from the hotel apart from sleeping there.

The room was lovely and the view was lovely, however as it was on the river bank opposite some pubs it was very noisy until the early hours of the morning. People were still quite rowdy at 4 am on Friday morning.

Very central location ideal for all attractions and only a 10 minute walk from the train station our room was quite large and very comfortable and although next to the lift we were not disturbed by it at all.
The room although quite large could have done with some slight work, there was a hole in the wall and some mould in the bathroom.

The queens is in a good location right on the river we stayed in a room overlooking the river so when we woke in the morning and opened the curtains we could watch the rowers going down. Our room was really nice plenty of room and would definetly stay again.

Very good location
I booked two double rooms and they were on different floors which I did not find acceptable, the hotel should know people want to be together, I also asked for river view and only one room had a river view. If I had booked this hotel at the last minuet I would have understood, but it was booked weeks before hand. My other complaint was the television, it had very poor picture and kept going off and on all the time. It certainly was too small for the room and wants renewing.
